Judy's Bio
Judy is a licensed Christian counselor and operates a counseling practice in Marietta, Georgia. She is an accomplished people builder, past President of the Georgia Christian Counselors Association, and is a facilitator of individual and group learning programs.
One of Judy's programs is How Can I Help® a lay-person counseling course written by her late brother, William H. (Skip) Hunt, Ph. D. This six-week, interactive course, teaches church members or other
501-c-3 organization staff members how to deal with people in crisis, leading them through the problem of the moment. The goal is to point them in the direction of resources for long term solutions.
Mark's Perspective
When Judy was a full-time homemaker, other women would unburden their souls to her in the grocery check out line. When the kids got older she worked as a volunteer telephone receptionist at our church's counseling department. We realized then that she has a gift for listening and helping people, so she went back to school.
